It's been quite a while since we had a new installment to the Castlevania universe. I think it's time we all start harassing Konami for a new game already xD

It would be cool if we had a mole that would leak information like we used to back in the day, wouldn’t it? When the Netflix show came out, I was almost positive that they would eventually announce a soft reboot of the series chronicling CVIII. I guess our next game we can hopefully look forward to is another collection but with the 3D games, and

While Konami has definitely been easing back into producing and developing games again, I think a LOT of the future of Konami's internal game dev scene hinges on the success Metal Gear Solid Delta.

Everything about this project has given me the vibes that Konami definitely bet the farm on that thing. If Delta succeeds in a major way, Konami will DEFINITELY be more receptive to visiting their other franchises, and since we already have Silent Hill F in the pipeline, that basically means Castlevania.

I'd already preordered MGS Delta because there was a zero percent chance I was ever going to NOT buy it so I just preordered to get that out of the way, but I'll also be buying Silent Hill F just to support the franchise and bump up those numbers Konami's getting. I don't actually handle Silent Hill games that well  ;D.

Fingers crossed enough people buy these games that Konami sees the market as viable for reentry; I know the vibes coming from Konami definitely seem like they've changed a lot, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and trust this new direction. And if the branch gives way underneath me, well, I'll have re-learned my lesson.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.
