While Konami has definitely been easing back into producing and developing games again, I think a LOT of the future of Konami's internal game dev scene hinges on the success Metal Gear Solid Delta.
Everything about this project has given me the vibes that Konami definitely bet the farm on that thing. If Delta succeeds in a major way, Konami will DEFINITELY be more receptive to visiting their other franchises, and since we already have Silent Hill F in the pipeline, that basically means Castlevania.
I'd already preordered MGS Delta because there was a zero percent chance I was ever going to NOT buy it so I just preordered to get that out of the way, but I'll also be buying Silent Hill F just to support the franchise and bump up those numbers Konami's getting. I don't actually handle Silent Hill games that well

.
Fingers crossed enough people buy these games that Konami sees the market as viable for reentry; I know the vibes coming from Konami definitely seem like they've changed a lot, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and trust this new direction. And if the branch gives way underneath me, well, I'll have re-learned my lesson.
