DXC SotN PSP blurry graphics question

Is it possible to switch the graphics to standard mode (not blurry)? I found nothing in the options but there might be a code out there which is similar to PoR's language change code.

It's because of the PSP's crappy screen so no.

No, not ghosting. I am sure that SotN's grapics were blurred a little so it does not look pixelated.  I prefer pixelation over blurring so I am desperatly hoping that there is a way to change it; if not, I will just play my ps1 copy.

It runs the game's output through a filter. You cannot disable it without hacking. The only way I know how to disable it is to hack it into 1:1 mode.

O. I thought Konami was just trying to make their game look more up to date.  Oh well, I'll just hook my PSP 2000 to a progressive scan tv when I could afford one.

i got a psp 2000 model, and it does it, its cause the psp does not have anti aliasing in game only for pictures, TV out on the other hand, if your tv has it, then your set, if not, your SOL, I dont even touch DXC anymore, with rondo on the wii and sotn on the xbox

It looks fine in that it no longer blurs... but the crazy resolution and shrinking that happens is pretty messed up.  You're only using, like, 2/3 of your screen's real estate and the rest is all black bars.

So it's an option of 'shrunk screen' vs. 'super-ghosting'.

On the new PSP (3000?) it actually seems... worse?  at times.

Considering I have in the recent past played SotN as it was originally played I can say it was never really pixelated to begin with.

It always had this sort of blur to it, always looked a bit "melty".

I can't answer what Jorge would, but the PSP-3000 appears to have these bizarre and clearly visible scanlines, and the display is too bright and makes things look uglier. The first two PSP models may have heavy ghosting, but the overall image looks nicer, and the ghosting cut-back on the 3000 doesn't look that much better, and in no way makes up for how they uglified everything.

PSP SOTN looks all right when displayed on an HDTV, but yeah, the black bordering thing is absurd. There's no reason there isn't an option to scale the image to fit the screen. 480p content looks fine on my Wii, I'm sure the PSP could put out decent-looking stuff as well at full screen. I feel really gypped having paid $20 for a cable that makes the games look really tiny, and the cable is so short that I can't kick back on a couch and relax; I have to have a chair right in front of the TV in order just to lean back while playing. It's not worth it. I'd rather just play on my PSP.

PSP-3000 though has an option for composite video, and I'm sure it would look much better on an SDTV.

Really, if you wanna play SOTN, just play the original PlayStation version or download it on PS3. The 360 port has some issues.
