Ultimate Curse of Darkness Faq (Possible spoilers)

Alright mixing two facts, one that i got tired of youtube comments/gamefaqs and two i just finished my entire experience at CoD a person can have.

Since i'm too lazy to make a faq and i hate that site anyway, i'll post here so anyone that might have a question about anything from the game just ask me, mmkay?

anyway, my mini-faq consists about giving hints to new players and re-players so they don't waste time and/or itens when playing it since getting new ones kinda suck (rare drops...are VEWY rare).

Ok, here's my advices, i'll try to follow the story line:

* When you get steal, STEAL the best itens in the game you obtain only by stealing, steal untill the end of the game (literally).

* You can use the guide at gamefaqs about stealing and creating itens, those two are fine faqs so i won't post them here.

* There's a weapon called Zaghnol, it's an axe and believe it (Naruto o.O) it's one of the best weapons in the game.Good strenght, fast enough for you to dodge if needed.

* Don't waste time trying to create The End, that ID that Isaac first shows you. It's not worth the deal.Best Id in the game?Corpsey!and more easy to get (left path) of evolution, once you get it use it till the end dont bother with anyone else besides the fairy type proboscius. To get her use a knucke two times then a special weapon.the spike shield can be use to obtain and it has 40 of attack, since the fairy is the first ID in the game try to evolve her before going to the corpsey since you'll be using him a lot.Why a lot? The corpsey can literally BEAT the game for you.Yes he is THAT strong, specially at higher levels.

* Best weapon in the game?just imagine...a KNUKCLE...the force glove...but for that you'll need a dark matter and galtite...galtite is easy but the dark matter not so much...yet easy...in the infinite corridor there's a place near a save point FILLED with blaze phantoms, get used to this place since you'll live here for hours...This is the best place to gain levels in the game, just re-enter the save point get out and there they are again...They are weak to light elemental but since i told you to steal you probably have the devil iron from the monitaurus boss...that can make the HIEN a total light elemental with 55 of attack.with it you can clean this area in under a minute.and stealing from blaze phantoms is easier than it sounds in the faq.

* I'll say again forget all others ID and evolve your corpsey, the proboscius is only good to open the passage leading to the meningelos ring in the Aiolon ruins. They dont cure well...i have tried all fairies they their AI istotally stupid, you're bleeding nearly dying and a fairy with a level 4 heal can easily use level 1 heal on you...in fact that's what they do all the time.

* Gain control over your Corpsey, don't leave him on auto leave him at bone storm then this way he will only attack, and that's when "he" shows his strenght. He goes on a berserk rampage that can easily deal 500 damage or more.use bone storm when the enemy is far or if you want to get invicible during an enemy's attack, yes bone storm makes him invincible.

* Dracula's tunic though it sounds bad ass and all doesn't COMPARE to the maximillian armor that is easier to obtain...weird, huh IGA?

* helmets: go by defense they have no status at all...rings: void ring, you get it in infinite corridor once you put it never take it off remember this is a castle of darkness (lolz the name of the game) so ALMOST every enemy here is dark based.

* Forget chauve-saures, death's schyte, all dark elemental weapons you don't need that crap since i remember only 3 enemies are weak to dark in this game: Trevor, St. Germain, Nuculais (brrrr).

i thought i had more to say but i can't remember...but any question just post, i don't wanna write for nothing (like no questions at all make raph saddy).

Audieu, and enjoy this good CV.

edit: i'll make a video of the boss rush telling you guys how to beat the bosses, but since i'm lazy these days i'll probably have it on line by saturday.

The only problem with getting the Hein is stealing the devil iron.  I am pretty skilled at the game and yet I haven't been able to successfully steal devil iron.  It's easier said then done.  Any advice on doing it?

The only person who gives me any real trouble stealing from is Death. In terms of the Minotaur, I let him smash up all the pillars in the chamber before I engage him. He'll keep the last pillar for perminent usege. What you need to do in order to steal from him is: When you see him about to jump into the air for his ground-smash attack, back away far enough so that you are still in close enough range to steal but are far enough not to take the hit. It also helps as a garantee by jumping just before he lands so the attack doesn't effect you and then you should be able to steal from him. Hope this helps you out.  :)

indeed the minotaurus and dullahan (headless knight) are a pain to steal from...well beat minotaurus untill he is almost defeated, then get away from him...he will 100% of sure jump at you.wait he jump, use time stop wait 1 second, double jump and try to guess where his head will be then press O.if you miss like i did a LOT get away from him dodging bc it's faster, in middle range or more he will jump again.be patient these both enemies are the worst to steal the rest is a-o-k...
ps: time stop doesn't stop time but makes him slower and the purple window last more time.

first hand hint that even google can't give you! ;o

edit: death is so easy to steal from...use the magic circle when he uses that explosion attack get out when the attack is "nearly" ended then still...or to be cheaper use invicible vase of the tiramisu. wait until he uses the attack, use IV as you see him charging!it should end exactly the time the attack ends.

To be honest, I found that at higher levels and in situations where you are surrounded by enemies, it's best to use double handed swords and end with the attacks that has Hector swinging the sword around in circles.  Does tons of damage, hits multiple times, and Hector can't be knocked out of it.  The biggest problem I have with large groups of enemies in the game is that one tiny little hit will knock you out of an attack string, and when you're surrounded, it happens often.  Bust out the double hander and you don't need to worry about this.

While there are few enemies with a weakness to darkness, a dark weapon can be handy in the boss rush against trevor, st. germain, and nucleus.  I recommend the 7 bladed sword.  It's relatively easy to make: 1 damascus sword, 6 short swords, 1 dark crystal, and 1 beelzebub's seal. It's the second strongest single handed sword next to the laser sword, which is also dark, but harder to make.

Nice.  I'm assuming that it will be on youtube.  I will be helpful to actually see how it's done.
