Might have been Bloodlines. I was thinking brown for Bloodlines, but it could very well have been more orange/red given the Genesis' bright and vibrant color palette.

Thanks for the reminder there uzo. I'd completely forgot about bloodlines' Dracula. My bad...  :'(

I always sort of figured Dracula's hair was white/gray when he was weaker. or when he doesnt keep his youth up by drinking blood.
figure, in both CoD, and Symphony, he has been prematurely resurrected. And the little Symphony manga thing shows Pre-Catslevania Dracula with his symphony design, which could simply be overlooked, but would make sense, he probably didnt actually drink much blood when he was married to a HUMAN woman who might not feel too comfortable about him feeding off of her kind like slurpees.

This is exactly what i was thinking.
I mean why else would his appearance be slightly different in most games? Most of the games where he's had his 100 year rest shows him with black hair and a younger appearance while most or all of his premature awakenings depicts him as an elderly person.

But SotN prologue Dracula has white hair and appear to be older, isn't he was supposed to be younger? Since he was resurrected after 100 years of rest.

Maybe the conveniently left out his Rondo look. But his hair color from Rondo is actually not that far off from his SotN look. His face just looks older.

White hair + vampires = cool.

I don't think designers of the CV games put any special thought (or system) to the Dracula designs. Considering that there were so many games by different teams it would be unlikely.

Though in DXC, his hair is black, so its a little bit innacurate when you try to link it with SotN's prolouge. Although i always thought dracula's hair color is silver rather than white in Rondo.
Also maybe they were trying to have Drac match his official art? though if that's the case, it makes me wonder why they didn't do the same with Richter...
