What does B.S. stand for guys/gals? From what I've read they sound like upgraded versions of these games. Zelda...Ahhh... I own all the hard hitter classics but always have so much trouble getting into them. I wanna love me, but they don't suck me in. I've beat Legend of Zelda, got far into Link to the Past, at the end of Twilight Princess, haven't even touched my Wind Waker. Shit I just am not a Zelda dude I guess. Though I will say, these B.S. (bullshit?) versions look really cool. Oh, and I know a ton of fold think Ocarina is one of the best games ever, but I decided I will prob never play it and am totally fine with that. GRAHGH! Honestly I've enjoyed TPrincess the most of any of them. For semi-RPG adventure type games I def have more favorable options though. Dark Souls being my favorite, and can't wait for Darksiders 2.

They're PC only BUT I think that they're gearing up to release a new, big version update which might mean compatibility with OS X, Linux, android, etc. We'll just have to wait and see.

If you've beaten LoZ, got far in LttP and the end of TP, then you're quite the Zelda person, at least compared to me.

Frankly, I think Zelda for me is like Lord of the Rings, I like being a fan of it but I haven't played/read much of it.  :P

Wait! NOW I remember properly, the first time that I've heard about this was because of Radical Dreamers, the pseudo Chrono TRigger sequel/pseudo Chrono Cross prequel/mindscrew. I'm a BIG fan of Chrono Trigger and since Radical Dreamers also appeared on Sattelaview (that's the name of the snes service, right?) this also caught my eye.

Broadcast Satelliview.

Watch the retrospective. He answers pretty much everything you'd want to know about the games.

The game itself is Broadcast through satellite, to the Famicom over a series of time slots. This was before the internet so it was the only real way it could be done. The time slots allowed you to know how much time you had before the satellite was out of receiver range. It's fully explained on the video link in this thread.

well I finally beat the b.s Zelda ancient stone tablets the other day. which is the link to the past sequel. great game, obviously not as good as link to the past, but definitely worth a play for any Zelda fan. I really would love to see Nintendo have the foresite to release these games on the virtual console so more Zelda fans could play them.

I agree, there are a few gems that they could have spruced up and re-released as a series of wiiware titles.
