Topic: Rondo of Blood unused boss or miniboss

The head reminds me of the new Hydra boss from Alternate Stage 5 from The Dracula X Chronicles.
If you recall, the Rondo of Blood version of that stage has no boss.

I imagine this boss to have been something you'd have to climb on, based on its staircase-like backside.  I am willing to bet it has a serpentine segmented neck section and probably a few walking frames here and there.

This is probably the most logical guess.

Oh wow, these games still have really cool secrets to uncover. That's really awesome that was just hiding out in there.

Makes you wonder why it didn't make it into DXC in some form.

Indeed, it also makes you wonder what else might be hidden in some games that we don't know about yet.
