If I bought a used copy of Resident Evil 5 Gold for the 360, it's actually just plain old Resident Evil 5 in a sparkly box because the last person to own it already used the little DLC coupon that, as far as I can tell, is the only thing that separates RE5 from RE5G aside from the packaging?

Is that about right?

Welcome to the current (shit) generation of gaming.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow sucks
DmC: Devil may Cry is the equivalent of trailer trash

I think RE4 and 5 were a ripoff to fans in the first place....but lets not have that argument here.

I really liked all the borderland dlc, especially the zombie island, but most of it is a ripoff. I mean the developers even said that the RE5 dlc was supposed to be in the game in the first place. And the vs mode was actually on the F()_Oking disk but you had to pay to unlock it. All of my favorite series are being ruined this gen so the developers can make more money and give us crap.
-----------------------------------------------
Nowadays you are either a graphics whore or a fanboy. BR is Shank not CV. It is ridiculous to think that it is better than CV. If it was CV then it would be what RE4 is to Resi, a series killer. Dumb it down and make it look pretty. Enough idiots will buy it.

That's dumb that it doesn't include dlc in the disc its self.
Oblivion and fallout were able to do that easily in a two disc combo.

Fable 2 Platinum Hits version also includes the DLC content included on the disc as well.

And probably the upcomming Forza 3 Ultimate Collection which is probably like the Burnout Paradise Ultimate Collection which is essentially the game with the most up to date content included.

Yeah but pre-release DLC in which they simply hold stuff back to make an few extra dollars on each release is totally bullshit and should not exist at all in my opinion.

The same for "Gold" or "Limited" versions of games that are no different then the regular version but come with one of those redeemable codes that give you said extra content.

In the case of Soul Calibur IV Limited Edition this content as also exclusive to the Limited edition version and was never uploaded to XBL / PSN for future purchasable DLC to those that did not get the Limited edition version when it initially came out.

Isn't the Gold edition supposed to be compatible with Playstation Move or something like that? I think I read it somewhere. Not sure if that makes you happier though...
