Probably breaking all records of development time for a single video game EVER, this game was called by fans
Duke Nukem: Forever in Development. I mean, come on! This game switched like, a dozen engines... One year, two, three... 12 years!!!! That's like, a millennium in the video game world!

This game is like Mick Jagger. People made jokes about him being too old 20 years ago.
Does today's generation of gamers even know who Duke Nukem is?
A first generation FPS, (when was that? 1996?) for me when I was a kid, Duke represented everything that is awesome: Extreme Violence, explosions, and pixelated strippers. It was one of the first video games that I played, and I was amazed.
I never really liked FPS. Doom always gave me a headache. But Duke was different. Maybe his witty comments were what made the game so awesome. Overall, Duke is the essence of coolness and manliness. This guy rocks.
If this game really comes out, I hope it gains the success it deserves. Most Probably won't. Today, there are so much more games in the market than in 1996. Except to its real fans, DNF would probably remain just another game on the shelf.
