I'm less pro-emulation as I prefer to play my games on the consoles they were intended for.
I understand that. But in previous post it sounded as if you strictly against emulation...and you still used for the quite amount of games. Saying in that situation that you are strictly against emulation is a bit of a strange.

How about a Flashcart for the DS! don't need cartridges and it plays games perfectly.

that counts as real deal since you are playing the same game on the original Platform.
you just have 50 more game to choose from on that Card.

But you're still using roms, not the real game that you bought yourself.

I personally don't believe that it counts as playing the real thing.

You're playing the game on the platform it was meant for, but you're stll playing nothing but a rom.

I originally downloaded ZSNES so I could play Tales of Phantasia in English. Then Rockman & Forte, and some other stuff. It's nice to be able to save whenever I want too. In case I gotta run or for some reason don't feel like playing all the way through Mario 3 in one sitting. Mame gives me the chance to play some cool shooters like Xexex that I never would get to play otherwise. I have a ton of roms on my computer and various emulators, but I never play them for long. It just doesn't feel the same as playing on a console. I'm glad to get the chance to play games I didn't have and being able to play translated games. It might be that I'm not a big PC game either. I just don't like sitting at my computer playing games. Also as others say, timing feels off sometimes, graphic glitches, and most annoying sound issues are most heinous. I prefer console for sure, but am glad emulation exist so I can try stuff, or maybe play something real quick without messing with getting stuff out (I happen to own most games I play with emulators). Also... I only like using emulation for old school stuff, to me meaning NES, SNES, TG-16, Neo-Geo, MAME, CPS1, and CPS2.

I'm also quite certain everyone here has an oppritunity to play all Castlevania Games (Except LoS and HD) through Emulation, even the Ps2 ones (which I do since I no longer have a PS2 and Ps2 looks like crap on an HDTV.)

Yep. That's how I was able to play almost all Castlevania games. I still need to find CoD and Judgment though.
