Mortal Kombat gets Komplete Edition (Includes all DLC)

Last year's fighting franchise revamp being rereleased for Xbox 360 and PS3 February 28 with all downloadable characters, skins, fatalities, music CD, and copy of 1995 film. The Komplete Edition of the game includes all four downloadable characters, as well as 15 throwback skins for the cast and three "Klassic" fatalities for the series' original trio of masked ninjas: Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Reptile. The package will also come with downloadable versions of the 1995 feature film Mortal Kombat, as well as the music CD Mortal Kombat: Songs Inspired by the Warriors.

That was from Gamespot.com. Anyhow, this is what I was waiting for. I will get this, glad I didn't buy it already. Now I just have to make sure I don't buy any more Capcom games until they release another, or even a third version of the game... Too bad my favorite fighter on 360, King of Fighters 13 is also using this new trend of dlc characters. It's five bucks a pop for the good Iori with his actual moves (purple flame powers). As well as Kyo from KoF 99-Beyond. I don't see KoF 13 getting a re-release though, so I may just have to pay for those. Or wait for KoF 14.

1995 feature film Mortal Kombat,

Still the best game-to-movie adaptation to date, hands down.

...Goddammit, Boon. From what I've heard that shit was embarrassing as fuck.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Goddammit, Boon. From what I've heard that shit was embarrassing as fuck.

Dubstep was on there. Fortunately, it was "good" (note the quotations) dubstep, so it's not the crappiest of the crap. Skrillex at least knows what he's doing.

Overall it was pretty darn embarrassing. Only piece of MK merch I didn't buy. Looks like I'm gonna wind up getting it anyway... >.>

I had hope for the reboot, thinking it might get me into fighting games for the first time since Soul Calibur II, but seeing as the game failed to do that (mainly because I suck at it), I think I'll just buy the movie and pass up on this edition.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.
