A Playstation Vita inquiry

I have a question pertaining to the Playstation Vita, so those who are in the know, please step forward.

If I buy a physical game card, does it give me the option to download a copy from the PSN?

Like say if I buy Uncharted: Golden Abyss in a store. Could I register it or something so that I could download a digital copy off the PSN, like you can with a lot of blu-rays?

Or would I be stuck carrying around a crapton of game cards?

This will definitely factor into whether I decide I really want a Vita after all, as I positively HATE carrying my gaming library with me in physical form.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

I think it's a good bet that the Vita has download support. The PS3 does so why not with the Vita? In fact I believe this was a discussion here a couple of years ago. But I wouldn't worry about those game cards if I were you...they're damned small! You could probably carry an entire library in your wallet.

Yeah. I finally saw the size of the came carry cases ob Amazon about an hour ago. I retract the question. Doesn't look like it's going to be cumbersome at all.
