Actually the NES cord could be conceivably that long. I'm holding one now and it certainly could make it to the NES console.
Also, the plugs are not visible in the pic. It cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt whether it's plugged in or not.

I had to look very carefully just to see it myself. And yes the cord isn't plugged in otherwise we would see a little black plug with a cord sticking out of the front of the NES box (but it's not there). I'm using the angle of the image in contrast to the young man who's somewhat blocking the area in question, but not blocking it completely. I'm also using my NES (it's right behind me) as a basis for evidence. So unless he's got the controller plugged into slot 2 then it's not even connected to the NES.

Er, what's the pictorial equivalent of an "old chestnut"? The shocking revelation that maybe, just maybe, some booth babes are only in it for the money.

Anyways lol the "kids are playing but not looking at the TV" was actually my first thought, but then I thought that must be way too simple and it had to be something else.

Same thoughts here. I also thought that the controller may not be plugged in & then tried to do a mental measurement based on memory of a NES controller. Another thing too is look how the kid holding the controller has his left arm-I thought for a second he was missing it until I saw his hand coming out from his knee. Just an unintentionally bad way to hold it for the angle of that pic.
