You have to rescue Tera in order to break the red skeletons.  And, if memory serves, you should be able to assign Dance of Pales to the remake.  I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

Hey Successor! It's Tiamat from the Chapel!

Anyway, if I were to own DXC, my Sound Assign settings would be the following, and no, I don't know the new names for SotN's soundtrack:

Stage 1:  Divine Bloodlines
Stage 2:  Vampire Killer (DXC)
Stage 2': Cross a Fear (DXC)
Stage 3:  Requiem of the Gods
Stage 3': Crystal Teardrops
Stage 4:  Dreams of Triumph
Stage 4': Rainbow Cemetary
Stage 5:  Picture of a Ghost Ship (DXC)
Stage 5': Red Dawn
Stage 6:  Poison Mind (DXC) or Prologue
Stage 7:  The Tragic Prince
Final:    Prologue
Boss:     Festival of Servants
Dracula:  Illusionary Dance (DXC)

Is it also possible to change the ending theme? If so, then I'm putting in Serenade of Sympathy.

You can't change the music on stage 6 or dracula's stage. You can only change the music during the dracula battle.

Hey Successor! It's Tiamat from the Chapel!

Oh, hi  :)
Sorry for the late(ish) reply.  I'm not at this forum as much as the Chapel one.
