With the way things are going for big gaming companies, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine die-hard fans of any IP lobbying to buy the rights to their favorite games if the companies in question fail the fanbase. And then the fans would search around for another company to sell the IP to so that the games in question could continue unabated. In that way while companies come and go the games themselves would still remain. Granted they'd remain anyways, however they would still be produced rather then disappear with said company.

One of my crazy dreams!

I don't know some companies prefer to let the games die even if fans offer a lot of money they are just crazy!

So beautiful:

Hey NetSphereEngineer, just wanted to say that I have started playing CotM now as well and you're right, it definitely does have some difficulty to it, which is nice to see!

It's not that much but it's a nice touch to a Metroidvania :) Most of it comes from your need to think a little how to get the boss killed and some enemies too cause sometimes you're in a new area and some enemies will hurt you a lot! Just keep calm and run hahahaha

In this kind of games I never use potions so for me it was extra nice trying to reach a save point that I didn't know if existed while almost dying! Reminded my a little of Dark Souls.

Order of Ecclesia too seemed a little difficult but it must be me I'm not a good player and my DS Lite has some bad buttons so I blame that :( But from years ago that I played OoE I remembered it to be a little more difficult than the others so thats what made me choose the favorite game here in the forum :) That and Shanoa is so beautiful!

I already finished COTM hope you enjoy it like me. Now time to play LoI

I try to use potions as little as possible as well, so every save point is very much appreciated by me when I run across them lol

I've heard that OoE is a little more difficult as well - am looking forward to getting up to it next!  Good luck with LoI - I didn't find it overly difficult... even the Forgotten One boss fight turned out to be pretty simple, IMO, although I did seem to luck out on it and stand in a spot where barely any maggots came near me for almost the entire first phase of the battle.

Shanoa is waifu material, if I heard correctly. And yes, as for all 3 DS vanias, OoE is the most difficult one.

LoI is easy with Leon. It is more challenging with Joachim. For me, Joachim vs Forgotten One is difficult.

I haven't played the other modes yet in LoI, though I plan on going back and checking them out later on after I've gotten through all the games.

I usually just play the main mode too but COTM in the magician mode must be difficult!

waifu material hahahaha not the case in OoE but with Ayami Kojima art even the guys are beautiful :) Her art is perfect and I would like to see Bloodstained postponed just for her make all the art in the game. Too bad it's not going to happen :(

Since I'm playing LoI how about a list of the extras too? Maybe you guys know something obscure that I don't! The manga I know it's lost forever :(

I love how Kojima draws her guys. hyukhyukhyuk.
If you backed Bloodstained at $100 or more, you'd get her illustration.
If not, at least her illustration will be scanned by fans and uploaded on the net.
If Bloodstained is successful and IGA can make a sequel, Kojima might have the time to join in on that.

I'm pretty sure the mobile-phone manga was the only supplementary material for LoI - the first extra material you should hit is the manga for Curse of Darkness and the prequel comic that came as a pre-order bonus for CoD.  There isn't actually all that much tie-in material for Castlevania, all things considered.

Also, the Sisters Mode in PoR actually plays out as a prequel to the main game so you might want to give that extra mode a play through when you get up to it.  The Julius Mode in DoS also plays out with a story as an alternate universe follow up to the main game as well.  I don't think any of the other extra modes really impact on the main story, which is a pity as some of them could easily have been turned into prequels like the Joachim Mode in LoI or the Maxim Mode in HoD.

Thanks for the link it brings tear to the eyes to see so much beauty in one place :) Too bad it must be impossible to reproduce this art in a 3D game.

Nice catch! I need to try the sisters mode in PoR it's already unlocked :)
