Go to your local classy bar, bearing fangs on the night of the blood moon, order a vial of blood in a wine glass, pick up filthy succubus/ succubi to kill time, rinse and repeat, enjoy the next Castlevania.

I can't believe nobody has named inFamous: Festival of Blood.
How not to be a dark lord: the answer to that is a terribly interesting answer that involves an almost Jedi-like adherence to keeping oneself under control and finding ways to be true to yourself in a way that doesn't encourage the worst parts of you to become dangerously exaggerated and instead feeds your better nature. Also, protip: don't fuck with Alchemy or strike up any deals with ancient Japanese Shinigami gods no matter how tempting the deal or how suavely dressed the Shinigami is.

That reminds me, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, one of my all time favorite games, is on sale for $5 till January 4th on Steam. It requires a fan patch to work at all though. http://store.steampowered.com/app/2600/
If you like RPGs it could definitely help fill the gap for a while. Here's MetalJesus's good but somewhat NSFW overview of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-18E8_kuaY

Also, Merry Christmas to all those celebrating it!

All 3 BloodRayne games.
