This one’s been a long time coming as I’ve wanted to talk about this for some time. But I’ve been  very busy with my writing, Project.
But the first time I played Belmont´s Revenge It really blew my mind and always made me wonder.

But I have two theories about it
It could be the undead killer,
As its super powerful and it only make sense that the Belmont’s would be able to make something like that, as their One of the few that truly understand it.  Also its powerful but not too powerful, something to start them off. It could act as a marker of their training.  To determine where they are in it, and when they’re ready to receive The Vampire Killer Whip.

Or it could be the holy whip,
the whip owned by Curtis Lang, Now I know that some don’t consider the book Cannon, (I’m on the fence with this one as some of my Pals got in to a heated Debate about it)
But it could be a nod to the game, and the idea that they both had whips. Maybe it was something the writer or IGA wanted to explain, and add more life in the CV universe.

Or it could be that I’m over thinking all this, and it doesn’t really matter at all
Any who that’s  all I got, thank you.
Last son of family Belmont.

Well, since this game came out way before IGA took over I'd have to say it was probably a trainer whip for Soleyu to get used to wielding a heavy chain weapon. Very similar in look to the vampirekiller, just without the magic involved. I do like the concept of it being the undeadkiller as that whip is my second favourite to the vampirekiller.

I've long assumed in my head it's the Jet Black Whip, as this weapons theme -- dark powers -- overlaps with the corruption of Soleiyu.
