If I recall correctly, Ayami-chan has done manga in the same art style as she does the vidya, so I always assumed she was an animu artist. Prunyuu~~

look at her lydie or mina. their eyes are the first thing that screams "ANIMU" at you with their size.

Also her young Maria, I believe.

Anime is really good for the series: Given that it's GOOD or GREAT anime. Such as Kojima and Masaki's work, which have a gothic feel that works well with Castlevania.

BAD anime, on the other hand.. tsk tsk.. *shakes head*

I'd like to see Kojima do some more manga for the series, but more than just a short comic at the end of a really cool artbook.

All i know is i really hate the artwork for dawn of sorrow, portrait of ruin, and Rondo of blood so if they stopped using that kind of artwork then thank god.
