As much as I dig Trevor, having him as one of the 14 playable characters is such a waste. He's gonna be a Simon palette swap or summin'.. or not really, but he's likely to play very similarily, don't you think? They should've put Isaac in there instead. Or Soma. Or Stella/Loretta. Or Medusa. Or Hector. Or whoever. For the sake of variety! I still hope there're more than just these 14 fighters, I really do.

..which reminds me; Both Simon and Trevor are (accrding to the character description) wielding the Vampire Killer in this game. At the same time. That's a bit... difficult to pull off, isn't it?

How so? It's a non-canon fighting game, anything is possible!

Exactly Crisis, I think Trevor will play similar to CoD or at least I hope he does. His move set in that game was awesome.

You might be more correct than you think. If you look closely at the artwork for Simon and Trevor, they have really similar outfits, i.e. boots, vest, gloves etc...

In fact, the only really distinguishing thing about Trevor (besides coloring) is his eye-patch.

Although, I really do believe that they will play completely different. Sort of like a swift character versus a strong character type difference...

I kinda like Golem after all... he looks rather cool. Carmilla on the other hand, reminds me of Ivy from SC. Which is cool too, but kinda shameless... I bet she plays like her too. Just look at the chain/whip/thing she's wielding in one of the screenies...

Hey, Trevor actually looks pretty awesome.

However, that still doesn't make up for 15-year-old fairyboy Eric.

Wow, for some strange reason the more I see of this game, the more my anticipation grows......

I've had it paid in full since the day it was available for pre-order, but lately I actually feel excited about it. Maybe it's just because Halloween is this week, I'm totally into Order of Ecclesia, and Judgment arrives in about three weeks, but I really like Trevor's design better than Simon's....

I'm still keeping a positive outlook.....(and hoping for secret characters!!)

Also, I'm with Clara: Where is Sypha?!?

Yeah I wanna know about Sypha too. I wonder what they've done to her. Maybe they've given her enormous boobs.  :o I hope she wears her cloak. Shanoa and Carmilla are already showing off their looong legs (and more) so I hope Sypha looks completely different. A nice flowing cloak is the trick.

since they didn't give Death a cloak, i'm not holding out any hope that they will give Sypha a cloak :(

EDIT:  Actually, it really depends what time Sypha gets "sucked out" of.  If it takes place after she revealed herself to be a woman at the end of Castlevania III, then she doesn't really need a cloak (like in the Pachislots game, which had a fantastic outfit in my opinion), but it'd still be nice, since Fake Sypha in SotN still had a cloak even though you could tell she was a woman.  It'll be interesting to see how similar in "spirit" she is to that slots rendition though.
