Good to see I was right about it being more like Power Stone: I prefer it. I also like that you can change your sub-weapons in-match.
But other than that, there isn't much I see to change my opinion about how professional this game will feel or play. The camera needs a lot of work if it is to be used in a 2P game. I saw players get in the way too often in the vids. The animations seem a bit choppy for a fighting game. In fact the PS2 CV's looked much better there. I still hate the designs and I hope the they take advantage of the interaction some levels could have. I want some good platforming on the side; but what I saw, the stages were as flat as their PS2 brethren.
What really concerns me is the lack of attacks in general. I saw the same tired moves applied again and again... is that really all there is to do with the characters? And is this really just gonna turn into a button-masher in that all you have to do to win is waggle the mote like there's no tomorrow more than your enemy does?
Also, of course I just want to see more characters, and 14 does not impress me. Good to see IGA let his guard down to allow Cornell, but I'd rather have Reinhardt or Carrie. Still I'll take what I can get from the 64 games. Also, Sypha was a must, and they delivered her. Which is great.
I'll have to get back to you on the music as I've watched these vids on a soundless computer. I now have access to my sound one but haven't gone back to listen yet.
I still hold my judgement on this, but it's not winning me over yet; especially when feedback from floor goers was lukewarm. Still a rental for me.
Just good to know more in general.
Well, I would kill for some good platforming, as I've been complaining about that for a few days or so, ever since I got The Castlevania Adventure. Of course, it's unlikely. I'm looking for some really interesting levels like, a level that, after two minutes, would explode, and both players have to escape, through a bunch of obstacles like falling objects, then maybe there could be a part where you have to do some platforming, because the level is collapsing, so part of the floor is gone and you have to jump from platform to platform trying to escape, but still trying to kill your opponent! That'd be fun.

I noticed a lack of moves too, and button mashing is the one thing that annoys me the most about any fighting game. Of course, you have normal attacks (which may vary depending on how you use the Wii remote) those special attacks, sub weapons, and item crush.
As for the characters, 14 is okay, I guess, but I definitely wanted to see way more. I'm happy to see Cornell is making a comeback. I wonder what the remaining three characters will be. I'm hoping for Maxim. I think his speed and agility would be perfect for this kind of fighter game where you're allowed so much control. I can easily picture him running arounf chucking giant shuriken in people's faces.
The music is great. You need to listen to it because Judgment, so far, has an awesome soundtrack.
