Bram Stoker's Dracula is easily the greatest Dracula ever to be put onto film(Hopefully Castlevania will change that).  It really is executed perfectly.

Agree. Best vampire movie to date. Followed closely by Interview With The Vampire.

I enjoy watching Van Helsing for the visual style other than that its utter garbage.

I don't know. I really like Gary Oldman and he certainly was cool as Drac, but I couldn't really take him serious. As for Bela Lugosi; he is really good, but... WAY TO SYMPATHETIC to be Drac. T_T

So the 1922 Nosferatu Dracula (I don't even know his name LOL) was the best in my opinion. He doesn't look anything like the Bram Stoker Dracula (bald, suit instead of cloak etc), but he certainly is creepy with his wide-opened eyes, his insanely-long fingers and his odd movements. I love the scenes when you only see his shadow.

Has anyone seen the newer version of Nosferatu? Was it good?

How was Van Helsing bad? Ok, ok, it was unrealistic. F*CK REALISM!! WOULD YOU SERIOUSLY SAY SOMETHING IS BAD BECAUSE IT IS UNREALISTIC??!!  Ok, yeah, it may have conflicted with the Stoker story, but who's to say that since that was there first, nobody else can make their own version, for the hell of it? Not only that, but both movies didn't even have the same Van Helsing! Bram Stoker= Abraham Van Helsing. Van Helsing= Gabriel Van Helsing, a relative to the first, of some sort. So really, you shouldn't bash it for those reasons. IMO, the graphics weren't very good. Mr. Hyde looked dreadful, though I like the inclusion of him, he's and old monster I forgot about for awhile.

It was bad because it was written terribly.  The director contradicts himself saying he is the arch anger gabriel, and related to Abraham? No.  The acting was terrible.  Dracula's babies looked ridiculous, and the plotline involving them was idiotic.  Dracula has to be killed by a werewolf... ok, why?  The director answered this with the "don't even worry about it" approach.  I never said anything about realism.  There is a reason this movie has a 16% on rotten tomatoes.  It was just stupid.  Frankenstein was a fricken opera singer for crying out loud "I waaaaant tooo LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!" "Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?!?!?!?!" I almost choked when he said that.  It is filled with stupid moments, like when the Velarius girl stops to comment on how pretty the moon is, your brother will be fucking damned if you don't save him in like 10 minutes, don't stop to look at the fucking moon!  The director also takes credit for making up the idea of Dracula turning into a giant bat like monster, we all know that is bs.

I wanted to love this movie.  I was super pumped for this movie.  But it was the biggest let down ever.

Quick question, how old are you?  I'm not trying to be mean, just curious.

No offense, but there are plenty of terrible movies i love because I saw them when i was younger.  So I figured you were pretty young, and I was right.  I don't think your stupid, or a little kid.  I just figured you probably watched it as a kid and liked it.

Drac in 1999 will look like Gary Oldman or that pimp version of him as prince drac?

If anything else we hope that Iga starts to reconize that modernization would be a good change if there where to be an up comming 1992 game. Julius should have an outfit very close in smiliarty to Constintine, just a suit. Dracula looks pretty good with his usual look with the flowing robes and such but for a modern version he would have a red suit with a black undershirt, tie, and long trenchcoat.

By far if anything else a Castlevania game or movie above the year 1990 should be based off of Constintine (I love that movie, closest to Castlevania style I have seen in a long time).

I'm hoping that Dracula will resemble his "Mathias" look.

Yoolius will probably look like Juiced but with brown hair & New York-styled clothing  ;D

Y'know I was thinkin' and it would be kickass if drac was like heatguy and oculdturn his arms into giant machine guns or other matter like Frankie in Por, that would be really kickass and make fighting him with a whip really fun.
