Anybody else a little disappointed that the animated movie wasn't previewed at Comic-Con? I was hoping, and expecting, a teaser or, at least, some info about it.

Why on earth would you use such a mis-leading topic headline?

I have a feeling that this project was cancelled.

You're right. It was pretty misleading so I changed it. Sorry about that.

Not according to Warren Ellis when I messaged him.

I think it's been cancelled or shelved.  The blog has been dead for months.

When I messaged Ellis on his personal blog his message was unfortunately cryptic.

"Movie time moves much slower than real time"

Whatever the hell that means.

You think wrong.  Seeing the quality of the animators they are using... I am not surprised it is taking so long.

The blog has been dead because it was Warren Ellis doing it about writing the script, he finished the script a long time ago.

"Movie time moves much slower than real time" doesn't make much sense to me, but whatever. That shouldn't be an excuse.

You mean that taking a long time to make sure that everything is done well is not an excuse for it taking long?  I'd have to disagree.

Warren Ellis has already been paid, as have a few artists, there are at least two pieces of artwork you can readily find on the web for this.  I doubt after paying everyone they would just shelve it.
