I wish I had a psp too. Well, at least I have SotN. Hey, does the DXC version of SotN by any chance have a new game + option? Cuz that would make it an even better investition.

No it doesn't.  It's essentially the same game except that it has new voice actors, it's easier to keep the starting equipment and there are two extra relics.  The only thing that sucks is that there is no longer a holy sword just lying around.  You now have to get is as a rare drop from a vandal sword.  You can also play as Maria.  However, she has the same moves as RoB.  The only reason to get DXC is to play the two version of RoB.  That's it.

Yeah, I need to play through all three games again.  I just recently played PoR, honestly for memory's sake because I practically forgot a lot of things, but I think it's time to get back to DXC.  Hands down, my favorite game for the PSP.  (And the only version of Slash I've heard that I like for some reason.)

I was suppose to say something profound here. I don't 'do' profound so much as ramble so...whatever. Here lies text. Congratulations for reading it.  You were as bored as I am. Seriously, stop reading, you can't be that bored.  Still here? Really?  You officially are my new favorite person and now are owed one internet cookie. Don't eat it though, it gives you bad gas.

Another sorrow...Novel?

The Akumajo Dracula novel is published in the magazine of Japan.

The author says that the Akumajo team of KONAMI supervised the novel.

Is it a canon?
I don't know.

Sweet, thanks for the info on the castlevania novels/magazines.

i would love to see a third sorrow game focus on the defeat of Soma.

i liked Soma's soul system, but we don't really need to have another iteration of it on a 2D platform.  it'd be nice to see it manifest itself on a 3D game though, although that would go against the current plan of making 3D games at the beginning of the series and 2D games at then end of the series.

I read the translation, but I'm still a little confused. Is the name of the magazine given or the issues number?  I didn't see it, but I probably missed it.

it's too bad that it's way more cost effective to just hire someone to write a new novel than it is to translate one, so we'll probably never see the Japanese one unless there becomes a huge demand for it.  oh well.  i suppose there is always fan translation.  that's how i read the original Slayers novels years before they were published in the US.

I wrote a fanfic to that end, actually. Soma turns out all right, and helps train the next generation of monster hunters alongside Genya.

At least, that's how I see it. Others' opinions might differ.
