Only time will tell. It's certainly possible, it just depends on the people in charge, and the choices they make.

Agreed. But I don't think that's the case with this movie.

I don't have high hopes for it.

With the right writers and directors, and assuming that Iga remains involved as a producer, I think that it very well could. The transition would be a little bumpy, yes, but given time and sustained efforts at making a quality product, it would eventually succeed.

Just don't expect instant gratification. It would take multiple tries to get all the kinks ironed out.

It's a trilogy? I thought it was one movie based on CV3...

CV3's story? To big for one film? I don't think so.

Dude, that fact that they have to stretch it out means PURE AWESOMENESS!! They'll actually focus on more than what the game showed. I bet there will be quite a lot about what happened before the first stage in the first one, for example. Maybe each movie will introduce a new ally? Like, Grant in the first, Sypha in the second, and Alucard in the third? So they wouldn't even get into the castle until the third movie... that would really be quite awesome, actually...

Though, I thought you meant that the live action movie would be a trilogy recreating the original NES games... that would be beyond awesome, if done properly...

No, Film 1 showing all of Dracula's ravage destruction, Trevor's battles all the way up until  Warikiya, the famous cross-praying scene, and then, through the clock tower and- yeah you're right, too much to stretch out...
