I think the trailer speaks for itself: that the game and the organization is a new chapter in the Castlevania timeline. I think IGA and CO made the right choice when they chose to implement the so called "backgroundintro", instead of having it told in the game in dialogue.
 The so called intro I think is a really gorgeous-looking one with Ayami Kojima finally showing of her real skills and not giving is us some crapy as lame anime.
