That was Sypha? she look so.... young.... and not much of a person who'd go out and fight, more like one of them ladies with fans and laughs behind 'em.

Well, she was weak but able to pull off strong spells.  The colors in her outfit (blue/white) are reminiscent of Sypha's game colors.  Her hair isn't quite as long as it was in game, but could pass as her.  Her outfit is definitely more like a "costume" than what a normal villager would wear.  I noticed that she has some cloth on her forearms that covers a triangular part of her backhand, with the point at the base of her middle finger.  Looks like a design that would be fit for a sorceress to support the flow of magic released from her palms.  And of course, the cross around her neck is a symbol of a church warrior in Castlevania.

She does seem like she's planning on letting Trevor storm the castle by himself.  Perhaps she would stay behind and protect the village or something?

darn, we'll probably get to see most of the videos from this game at some point, but they'll probably be cell phone quality (or at least digital camera quality).  nothing quite as cool as what we're seeing in this promo.

It seems criminal to just use this for a slot machine.

Never seen that first image of Trevor before. Screen grabbed it and using it as a wallpaper now.

If they just made a quickie incorporating these scenes with the CoD engine for PS2, would you buy it?

Are you kidding?  The min it came out I'd buy it.  New Trevor?  Yes, thank you.

They have a new short video up with some new scenes and gameplay.

http://www.kpenet.jp/dracula.html

They show LoI version Medusa and Succubus.  They also have some of Sypha's magic moves (a la Sailor Moon??) and a closeup of her chest.   Plus, you get to see what the machine looks like in action.
