There are some translated Shizumon comics.
Did anyone post this?
I'm on hiatus now.

KohsakaRenn was the translator while RouyamaZero did the editing and typing of the strips. Credit those girls. :D

Ascia <--- Axe.  In Spanish, Axe is "Hacha" which comes from "Ascia",

Macir (I know it sounds like mace, but does it mean 'hammer' or 'to strike'?)<--- "Thinness" (object).  In Spanish, "Mazo" is Club.  I think they should've used Mattia instead. :\

Arma <--- Verb = To Equip ( as in 'to arms'  or 'arming oneself' as in 'weaponry' ), I believe.

Caries (I'm guessing it means 'rotten' or something, but I'm not sure) <--- means "To Decay", I believe.  Cavities in your teeth in Spanish are called "Caries".

Volaticus (while vol is the French of flight, I don't know about its latin counterpart, nor do I know what this word actually means) <--- literally translates to "Flying".

Paries <--- literally means "Wall".  In Spanish, it's "Pared" for Wall.

Fio (and most of the Fio spells which I don't remember since I don't use them much in-game Smiley except Rapidus Fio) <--- means "To become".

There's literally no trick to the latin words in this game. If an axe is called ascia, then the english word for ascia is axe.

Magnes = Magnet
Scutum = Shield
etc. etc. etc.

Does anyone know if its possible to get into the options menu in Albus mode?  I wanted to turn on Japanese audio (the voice overs bug me less...) and surround sound.

I bought that guide, too.  I'm kinda disappointed by how short it is, but considering how short the game itself is, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

The CVJ bios don't even contain all the characters.  I weep.

Thanks for you guys who help with some of the Latin-English translations/interpretations for the glyph names :)
(PS: I believe I mis-interpreted 'Umbra' as 'darkness'; it's more like 'shadow', isn't it?)

There's literally no trick to the latin words in this game. If an axe is called ascia, then the english word for ascia is axe.
You have a point, although with some words, I personally doubt that really is the case. Look at Luminatio, does that simply mean 'light'? I admit I don't know the exact latin word for light (is it lux? Lumen?) though. Besides, 'secare' means 'to cut', not the word sword itself :) (unless, again as I've seen before, the Wiki editors were a fool)

To translate the names of the Glyphs just look to the romance languages like Spanish, French or Italian.

Ascia -> Hacha
Umbra -> Sombra
Luminatio -> Luz
Fulgur -> Fulgor = Brillo

Etc...

Oddly enough ... Romanian too.

Umbra = Umbra
Luminatio = Lumina
Fulgur = Fulger
