Meh, sexism can be linked to homosexuality. Even if he isn't gay, he'll have a hard time finding a woman in the 21st century willing to put up with someone like him.

On topic: Shanoa's pretty much different than any other Castlevania protagonist. I fail to see how she doesn't add anything to the series.

Considering Thomas Belmont hasn't posted since he's made this thread, I'm half-tempted to consider this entire thread troll-bait and tell all of you to post in the Spoiler/Non Spoiler OoE threads.

We didn't need fifteen million discussion threads over Shanoa and the game before it was out, and we certainly don't need them now that game is out.

It's cool to see Shanoa & her personality manifest in a time where the Belmonts are in limbo. In cv lore females usually take the 2nd or 3rd role, and most of the time used as sacrifice. However, THIS female actually fights back!

Explain to me how that makes sense.

Also explain to me how Shanoa isn't bringing anything new to the series. For one, she's a girl, which is a first for the series. Her emotions were absorbed into Dominus, so he's pretty unexpressive, another unusual thing in female game characters (especially compared to Charlotte). She also has an incredibly dark ending, which suited the series much better than the "Saturday morning cartoon" endings of Pork.

I can't speak for all of us, but the majority here thinks there is nothin wrong with Shanoa bein a chick and that you ahve a problem with strong female main characters

I mean why do you want a Belmont guy over Shaona? Does it make a difference if Iga put a Belmont in the game with no whip and plays like Shaona in every ascept?

Sure she had personality. She wasn't like happy-go-lucky Charlotte, and not so inquisitive like Maria. She was detached, but she lost her memories. In fact, I'd say she had more personality than Juste.

But now Thomas is afraid of what the other boys in school might say if they caught him playing a game with a girl as the lead!  Thomas and his friends feel that such games may very well turn them into girls.
