Topic: Can't stand Shanoa

Anybody else not like Shanoa? She's just another generic, cliche' character. Her addition brought nothing new to the Castlevania universe. The game should have starred a Belmont.

It's cool to see Shanoa & her personality manifest in a time where the Belmonts are in limbo. In cv lore females usually take the 2nd or 3rd role, and most of the time used as sacrifice. However, THIS female actually fights back!

Dracula should do that in every game if you lose to him.

You basically just said: "The first female protagonist in the series isn't bringing in anything new! They should have used the same characters they've used every time before!"

Explain to me how that makes sense.

Also explain to me how Shanoa isn't bringing anything new to the series. For one, she's a girl, which is a first for the series. Her emotions were absorbed into Dominus, so he's pretty unexpressive, another unusual thing in female game characters (especially compared to Charlotte). She also has an incredibly dark ending, which suited the series much better than the "Saturday morning cartoon" endings of Pork.
