haha good thread waffle XD but i guess here's my PROBABLE reason for it (IMO in short )

1. First of all yeah i also wondered how come drac never turn heroes/heroines/protagonists and others into a vampire?

-i guess the main reason is, the CASTLE, the castle is huge and large, there are two reason here: Being defeated by a non-vampire or being defeated by Drac himself, i played CotM and i heard from the boss necromancer and camilla that they're turning both nathan's master and his friend into vampires? but i didn't finish playing so i never found out

2.Second...

Why kill a holy-powered vampire hunter when you could just recruit their abilities to your side as the ultimate sign of failure and humiliation?

from what you have said i also feel the failures i ended up in the game X( haha but anyways, i guess the main reason is because we control the heroes, and if we fail we get game overs, we can't continue the game if we turn into vampires "I GUESS" - i said i guess huh! XD

i also can't get it, why would i rather turn my most POWERFUL enemy into a vampire? well i think "someone else could turn them back to normal" from PoR when they found out that Wind is Eric lecarde and his daughters stella and loretta they planned a way to save them both BACK because they're already VAMPIRES eric told jonathan it was kinda tricky and might already be impossible or too late... XD all of these are IMO

If they become vampires, the Belmonts can't use the whip... because... I'm guessing. And as we all know by the recent IGA games, the Belmonts are useless without the whip.

Still, that's not to say that Dracula wouldn't have use for an evil journalist or two.

Each series has different rules for their vampires, sometimes they fear garlick and crosses and sometimes they dont. I think that in the earlier games they just didnt see any gameplay posiblity for that plotpoint so they didnt include it...but now I think IGA has made these vampire to have weird magic rituals that almost always involve gigantic energy balls as their origin instead of neck chomping. Think of Mathias, think of the way Richter was transformed....I just dont think vampirism as a virus exists in this reality, it's more of a choice that Mathias and a few others made.
