Oh my god.

I hate shooters. I never play them. But I cannot stop playing Left 4 Dead.

This is probably the best zombie game, best shooter game, I have ever played. Controls are very easy to get used to, and the game never lets the adrenaline stop pumping.

I've grown to shiver whenever I hear pained crying now.

Seriously. Why are you still reading this? If you have a 360 and/or a decent vid card on your PC, go get this game NOW. Download it from Steam, rent it from Gamefly, take a trip down to Walmart, ANYTHING!

The co-op experience is amazing, and the single player mode has the BEST support AI I have ever seen in a game. It is a highly replayable game. No one playthrough is the same. The Director is a sadistic bastard who wants to make your life a living hell. There is no "knowing when something will happen". Shit will hit the fan at any given moment. And heaven help you if a Tank comes and you're in a tiny area, or a Tank comes while there's a Witch in the room.

Also, this game is getting constant 9 and 9.5 scores on websites and magazines. Many people and sites are saying that Resident Evil 4 pales in comparison to this game. It's awesome. Seriously. Go. Get it.

Indeed looks awesome but RE4 belongs to another specie of games...It's like comparing oranges and apples...
But for a shooter game Vampire Night still has me even though it's small and all, i just love its characters and "aura".

Yeah! I played the demo last night with two of my friends right before the demo ended. Holy shit! This game is indeed amazing. I don't particularly care for FPS games either, but wow.

Everyone should at least try this game. Francis > All

Yes, Left 4 Dead is damn awesome. Bill is my favorite.

But yeah, reviewers comparing this and RE4 is strange. They ARE different types of games. If RE4 was an FPS then they could do comparisons. Dead Space=something they can compare it to, considering they basically stole the gameplay, like Cold Fear did and whatever others.

I've already owned every episode, first 3 on advanced, last one on normal, and played some VS modes. So damn fun. Clara is right, get this shit!

I agree, this game is fantastic! The first time that zombie horde came running at me I almost crapped my pants. It was so unexpected. The witches freaks me out too.. and those fat guys that vomit all over you... Boomer? Or something. Anyway, great game. Very intense!

Oh dear god of all the hours I put into this game! I freaking love it, you would think using the same 8 or so weapons while killing the same enemies over and over would get boring, but sweet jesus it is so damn addicting! CURSE YOU VALVE AND YOUR ABILITY TO MAKE ADDICTING GAMES!!!

I really do hope they update it soon. The game is nice but there just isnt enough content. I play on advanced whichis difficult enough for me to enjoy but 4 maps is a little poor and no user created content yet? ( as far as i know ).

You cant even play all the maps in vs. it seems very unfinished to me.

Valve is already making DLC which will be avalible in febuary, it will bring 1 more story to make it a total of 5 storys so far. Here is a shock though, valve is equally treating the consoles and the PC by releasing it on the same day! I wish the same could be said about Team Fortress 2.....bastards....

I would have at least thought that mods and user created content would be available for the PC ala Counter strike and a plethora of other PC titles.

Well, I suppose it should be one... I was almost at the rescue vehicle when a Boomer got me and the horde dragged me down literally inches from salvation.

Don't you just hate it when that happens? I was getting DA CHOPPA when a smoker pulled me, then a Tank punched me off the roof.
