Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh <_<;

You can't be serious.

Don't know John was pretty badass in his game. Was basically a one man army. Wouldn't surprise me if a belmont offed him and blamed it on "the whip" because he was too cool.
The same could be said of every other Belmont, except that they do a much better job at it.

Yeah that's pretty much established already. I was just sayin' hypothetically that he may have been killed for becoming too close to the belmont's power. Just a joke really. POR established the true reason.

A bit of a bump, one is aware, but Eric Lecarde was the only person to mine immediate drunken recollection that managed to defeat Dracula without use of a whip or powers inherited from Vlad Himself...

if you count eric as one to beat dracula, then maria beat him with doves, albus shot him dead, maxim killed him with a sword, and hell, even a weak axe armor killed him with a crappy axe.

tl'dr alternate modes don't count.
canonically it's john who beat dracula, eric was just there to help like maria in rondo.

it could be interpreted that he fought bartley trying to exact his revenge for killing his girlfriend while john went forward to fight drac himself. but that's just my imagination, there was no explaination for it other than 'lol extra modes don't count.'

As EGG-spected, mine drunken recollection proved false...

Eric still wins on eclecticism...

Hey, Donatello had the bo staff in the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on the NES, and it was the strongest freakin' weapon available.

Maxim wasn't a villain entirely. He just went schizo.

Actually, he was possessed by Dracula through the vulnerability created from frustration of envying Juste being considered a better vampire hunter.

He wasn't possessed by dracula, he was possessed by a evil spirit born in his body from his dark emotions and exposure to the magic of dracula's remains.

that was the excuse at the beginning, but at the end he goes "i don't need this body anymore, i have my body parts" and then the spirit somehow becomes dracula himself. :o
