Adrian Farenheights (spelling?) Tepes, a.k.a. Alucard hands down.  He's the son of Dracula and if you ignore any special equipment and spells, he is clearly the strongest.  Then again he is half-vampire so in terms of physical strength and overall endurance he is clearly superior to the human heros.

Hector has/had great potential! He was under the tutelage of Count Dracula for a good while. They should reveal more of his background.

forums are for discussions mainly, and that's what i did. i don't vote in polls at all unless there's a silly non fitting answer for the lulz.

for example if someone added a character everyone knew shuldn't appear there and make absolutely no sense like the chapel's signature werewolf answers.

i'm gonna say soma. not my personal favorite mind you, but he is essentially dracula, meaning he can use the powers of the most powerful entity known in the castlevania series.

I chose shanoa because of the abilities and her being emotionless which means no hesitation which is perfect for killing demonic beings.

By and far, Alucard. No question. Soma and Hector each may have been powerful in their own right, and they may even try to emulate the son of Dracula's in look, hair and fashion sense. But in the end, each gave up their accumulated power at the conclusion of their respective adventures. - Soma's Power of Dominance being put to rest, and Hector forfeiting his abilities over Devil Forgery. Meanwhile, Alucard retained every ability, discipline, and experience from his personal battle against his father. And come on. - At Level 99 with the biggest sword in existence and the toughest magic backing him up, who's you're real daddy CastleVania? ^_^
