My question is: how the hell did I not know about this 2-month old video 'til now. Man, I haven't been paying enough attention this holiday season.

It's just a teaser, but it's good to see ol' Al, there, for sure.

But I was hoping the next-gen game would be about the 1999 war. :( The again, teasers can mislead ppl on what the final product will really be like.

It might not have anything to do with Alucard at all, just that Konami is using him to generate more interest in the project.

Should've used a half naked succubus if they wanted more interest >.>

But you didn't know about it? There should be a thread on it.

Well, I can only assume it will be some kind of 3D adventure game.  If thats the case I'm not too excited about it, looking at the track record of the last few games that Iga's team stepped out of its 2D comfort zone.  Lament, Curse of Darkness and (especially) Judgment were nothing special IMO.   I heard a rumor that it could possibly be a Zelda-type 3D game (which again, Iga's teams have little experience with).  Unfortunately, the thought of a 3D Castlevania just doesn't get me as pumped up as it did ten years ago.  But who knows, we'll just have to wait and see.

It's very little to go on that's for sure.

I just had a thought tho that they're showing Alucard to suggest another game like his; thus possibly a 2.5D game like DXC.

Again, very little to go on.

I'm betting this game will explain why the Belmont's (mainly Richter)disappeared. Alucard might've been involved.

It's most likely a sequel to SotN.  So assuming that is true, we may finally find out what actually happens with Alucard immediately after the events of SotN.  And hopefully learn why the Belmont's disappear.  After all, OoE explained it so well.  Sarcasm aside, this has a lot of potential.

wow this looks badass. I like al's new look, seems to suit him better than Sotn though I like that one too.

This definitely caught my attention. Is it gonna follow the storyline of the Radio Drama?

Possible, I really do hope it covers what happened to the Belmonts.  I am actually thrilled Alucard is in it, and I hope he is the playable character.

I doubt it's the end of the world, but people should probably refrain from it. I don't mind double-posting every once in a while, but then again I'm not a mod  8)

You should try to EDIT your previous post and just add to it.

Yeah, this isn't GameFAQs, after all.

Though some would say GameSpy is just as bad...
