Just out of curiosity I've been wondering the worth of my Castlevania collection. I'm not planning on selling them, but if I would, I just would want to know what are good prices to put them at. If anyone knows any kind of website that would have something like this, let me know. For the Hell of it, here's what I have:

    Games with Box, Manual, Inserts.
Castlevania
Simon's Quest
Dracula's Curse
Super CV 4
64
Judgment
Adventure (still in plastic wrap)
Belmont's Revenge
CV NES Classic
Circle of the Moon
Harmony of Dissonance
Aria of Sorrow
CV DOuble Pack
Rondo of Blood
Bloodlines
Symphony of the Night
Chronicles
Lament of Innocence
Curse of Darkness
Haunted Castle PS2
Dracula X Chronicles
Castlevania and Contra PC Collection

   Games alone
Legends

    Other Merch.
Vampire Killer Whip
Judgment Laser Cell
20th Anniversary Preorder pack
Castlevania Pixel Figure (Unopened)
Simon's Quest Pixel Figure (Unopened)
Simon Belmont Neca figure
Alucard Neca Figure
Belmont Legacy Comic
Worlds of Power: Simon's Quest
What a horrible night to have a curse!

Yeah the VC is nice, I have CV 1 2 and 4 on it, but I'm the kind of guy who likes to have the physical copy more. Don't know why, just like it.

I'm like that with the NES games. I love the console and try to get all the actual carts for the games, not just relying on roms.

I've never seen a site that gives info on what CV merchandise is worth, although I've thought about making one before.

Thank you, thats very awesome of you. I kind of thought prices would be in those ranges, and looking on ebay is so unreliable, unless you do a lot of averaging out and even then it differs from sale to sale.

I've just always been curious about it, just kind of to give an estimated worth to it. So that the next time I tell some one my game series is Castlevania I can say " I have X amount of dollars invested in it"!

What a horrible night to have a curse!

Ed Oscuro (whatever happened to that dude) and I were working on putting a price guide together years ago, but we both lost interest after seeing how complicated it would be.  Danial's summary looks pretty accurate though, as far as rough figures.  And rough figures are about all we can go by because the prices shift every few years.

Hm.. the prices are quite different in Europe.. it changes every once in a while, but there's no way in hell you could pick up a complete copy of Dracula's Curse for less than $40. Another game that's getting more and more expensive is Aria of Sorrow. I've seen it go for as much as $80!

Also, Castlevania Chronicles is only like $10 here or something, though it's getting a little rarer these days.. but the US version is arguably still more expensive than the PAL one.. It's usually the other way 'round!

yeah, it's strange how different the price shift is between US/Canada, Europe, and Japan.  In Japan I could pick up a copy of CV for the MSX for less than $50.  Here in the US it's usually going to cost more than $100.  The obverse of that is I just watched an auction in Japan end for the PoR 20th anniversary pack for a little over $200.  Here you can pick one up for less than $15 usually.
