How's it disappointing? O_o Prime 3 had amazing controls, and the idea of being able to play the original Prime and Echoes with those controls is an amazing idea!

I just hope they don't retail it at $50 for a game that's been out for this long. I mean I'd pay it cuz I'm a whore for Metroid and all, but it by no means needs to be $50. $30-40 tops.

What i meant when i was telling disappointing, is that it is not a new game in the series.

Actually, they're also making a new game, which, according to some Japanese translations, is going to be a spin-off to the Prime series. I think I also heard that it'll be a radical change, much more like the Halo tactical game than something like Hunters, i.e. with a different style of play.

Is it going to be a third person or first person? Do you have any more info?

Only that it's supposed to take place from the Space Pirates' perspectives.

Also, Metroid Wii-Ware.

But these are just rumors.

It says "new side story coming soon"...

hmm...

But yeah I think the idea to put Corruption's Wii-motion controls in the other two games is great; -- will only make them better -- I just hope they aren't going to charge much for them. I already bought the originals after all.

But according to that site, in Japan the first one alone will cost about $42.

I think the "Play on Wii" GCN games will cost about $30 if Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin 1 say otherwise. But, with this new side story on the site does this mean playable space pirates confirmed?

It looks like they changed Metroid Prime 1 quite a bit. There is now narration and the achievement-like system from Metroid Prime 3. Also, the Fusion suit is still in the game but, unlocked by doing something else.
