Topic: Good Castlevania Book

Which Castlevania game(other than Curse of Darkness; there's already a manga for that) would you like to see made into a book?

Castlevania III and the battle of 1999, those are real epic battles.

CV Adventure was also made into a comic book, but I'd personally like to see a book that sheds some light during the 300 years between LoI and CVIII.

I want an origin story for the Belnades: why do they have their powers.

I want to see a book (ok, actually a continuation of the Belmont Legacy comic books) that follows Belmont's Revenge and then bridges the gap between Soleiyu Belmont and Desmond Belmont from the Order of Shadows cell phone game.  I want to see that Soleiyu's struggle with the forces of Dracula that the end of Belmont's Revenge says happenned and I want to see Rohan Krause's role in all of that and how he killed Soleiyu or his son.  I want to find out who this Giovanni is.  He seems to be a descendant of Rinaldo Gandolfi and in my mind he is the guardian of the orphaned Desmond and his sisters (for lack of any other characters in the game to take this role).  Then they need to make a sequel Cell phone game to Order of Shadows that shows who the power that kept Dracula's Castle from crumbling after Dracula's defeat.  I'd like to see what happens to Rohan Krause and Dracula due to the blood pact that was completed between the two of them, even after both of their deaths.  This of course would lead up to Dracula's full resurrection and Simon's first battle with him.

I think OoS was meant to be a stand-alone story, but you still have some interesting thoughts there!

Personally, I would like to see a story adaptation of the years before Bloodlines and 'twixt Bloodlines and Portrait, tracing what happened to the Morris and Lecarde families from, inception to the end of their respective lines, plausibly linking in throwbacks to Barker's piece for the kicks.

I still believe that Lament of Innocence could be made into not only a splendid manga series, but an engrossing novel adaptation. One that, unlike the game, offers up ample substance to make its target audience want to go back and read it through a second time or more.

I so bad its funny. I asked my brother every year to get me something CV for XMas that i don't have yet, and 2 years ago it was that....Such a good read!

Just curious, but has anyone read "The Belmont Legacy"? I'm thinking of getting it and I could use opinions(NOT THE ENDING).

Oh, and I nominate an AoS manga.

I've read Belmont Legacy, Its not bad, I really enjoyed, you should definitely check it out, and  I can't imagine its too expensive anymore

In the hands of a good author, I'd love to see the original Castlevania adapted to a prose novel. Because of how the original CV was so bare-bones, there's a lot that could be built onto that. There's a lot to be filled in, so the author wouldn't have to worry so much about screwing up important plot details, or things like that.
