Is this mysterious countdown proof that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is being released for xbox & playstation?? God I hope so.

It'd be even better if Capcom updated the roster (56 characters is enough, but why not add 10 more? ;D)

Well it was already released some time ago on the xbox but the playstation??!!
Im mean come on
Why would they do that?
Thats terrible

I'd rather say they are making an HD version of the game that will be available for Xbox360 live and psn.

I am pretty sure it is just the game re released on XBLA and PSN but I could be wrong.

Yeah it'd be cool to see something else added to it, but still, its Marvel vs Capcom 2, its a great game, its way too expensive to find now, so if it's just a re-release I have no problem with getting it

My Dreamcast version still works but online play would worth buying it again.

Agreed. MvC1 was a better "fighting game." MvC2 was still solid, and had more variety with more characters, but MvC1 just felt more serious as a fighting game. The loss of classic Capcom tunes hurt it too, although the jazzy tunes of #2 weren't bad. I still have the Dreamcast version, so this is no big deal for me. I'd rather companies made some good new stuff instead of re-releasing and re-packaging old titles.

I don't mind the music to MvC 2 at all. In fact, I quite enjoy it. I love the classic tunes of MvC1 but fighting games that go out of there way to put some good arranged music on there, cheesy or not, I think it does them justice. I mean hell, look at KoF, a plethora of different genres of music.

I am so pumped for this! And I'm so happy to hear about online play.
I am a little disappointed that everything is unlocked from the beginning, I like to work at unlocking characters and stuff in fighting games, thats what keeps me focused on them, but oh wells..
What a horrible night to have a curse!

No Vega, no Master Mold = No Sale.

EDIT: Hmm.. Gambit is in it, right? And I can make a team composed of 3 Sentinels? Maybe it'll be a sale after all!

Rugal, its kind of lame that you don't buy this game purely that it doesn't have Vega in it. It is a great game! Cable, Hayato, and Gambit FTW.
