Trico footage (Ico series)

Apparently this is old news in the gaming world, but I didn't know about it until now, and I can't believe I missed it.  Footage from the third game in the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus line.  The game looks really sweet, but still very Ico-ish.  Apparently it retains the Ico-Yorda and Wander-Agro friendship theme.

Is anybody looking forward to this like I am?  Any thoughts on this?

Maybe a reason to own Ps3 finally?

It looks great, especially that mythical creature that protects the boy.  It's a good mix between the platforming puzzles of ICO and the behemoth mechanics of Shadow of the Colossus...

...or at least it seems that way.

What a gorgeous trailer for a game though. ICO-team's talent never ceases to amaze me.

I wonder if the trico team is experimenting with different game-type formulas before they settle on the one that suits them. It definitely combines the gameplay of ICO and SotC. when i first saw the trailer I thought that the creature (Whatever it was) was going to make a meal out of the boy. but I wasn't expecting a baby Hipogryphen to pop up out of the dark and befriend the kid. just like the other two games before it, this'll be new and different. :o
