So, due to a lack of thread (from what I saw), who's getting this game on release. If so, which system are you getting it for.

I propose a PSN/Live name trade if enough people care, but...

Yeah, BlazBlue is the spiritual succesor to the Guilty Gear series. Beautiful High-Definition sprites of awesomely designed characters face off in what many are claiming a fighting system that surpasses Guilty Gear as one of the best. If you like the insane moves of Marvel vs. Capcom or it's sequel, you'll love this game. If you like the skills necessary to master a character in Street Fighter or King of Fighters for tournament-level fighting, this is for you. And of course, if you like Guilty Gear, you're probably already set on buying this game.

Here's an online review of the game for more info (IGN - 9.4).
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/998/998859p1.html

I'll be picking up the PS3 version, since I'm used to the PlayStation layout for fighting games. My PSN name is -, but I'll need to find a way to get the internets to mah pee-ess-triple.

I'll be getting this along with King of Fighters XII when that comes out. Too bad MvC2 was delayed :/. Loox like it'll be a lot of fun.

I saw this in the arcades and, despite not being too good at Guilty Gear, was impressed. GG was pretty damned intimidating to try to get good at, but I think I could pick this up a little better. I'm looking forward to playing as the Shy Guy ghost thing.

I have it for the PS3, it is a pretty solid fighting game. Haven't played to much of it just yet but there is a girl who is named Rachel-Alucard, and she is a Vampire. How creative xD.

I'm surprised at the high level of people playing online.

I'm maining Ragna because he's all out offesnive, just the way I like. Noel's pretty awesome too with her chain-drive. It's kinda like Marth's technicolor sword slash thing...

Is this game as good as Guilty Gear (specifically X2)? It looked like it would bet similar but the characters don't look as cool. Also, how many characters are there? Is it worth the price it is now, or is it something to wait and get while its cheaper?
What a horrible night to have a curse!

It takes what Guilty Gear did and makes it 10x better! There's only 12 characters, each one playing totally unique from one another. I'd say it's worth the 60 bucks, especially since it's the limited edition.

Its ok... I only played it for maybe an hour but it doesnt seem any where near as indepth as somethin like sf3 or 4 or tekken. It just seems like a really fast paced button masher type fighter

The real question is whether faceless catgirl is the next Bridget (or close).  Hilarious character design, anyway!

My mains are Ragna and Jin, with a little Noel on the side. I am usually one to pick poster characters. xD
