It really does sound like it.  I also wouldn't be surprised if it was played sometime during the upcoming CV movie (likely during the ending credits).

I was expecting this to be about how Order of Shadows stole the Phantasm theme, or how Renon's theme from the N64 games is based on the Motel Hell soundtrack.

It really doesn't contain enough Castlevania references to really tie itself to the series. It honestly strikes me as a song that's more about love and devotion, with two or three vague references thrown in and a title to make it seem more relevant.

It would be kinda ridiculous if the song contained more references than this. After all, it's just an indie rock song with a nod to the Castlevania franchise - not an official song produced by Konami. I've actually heard this band before, but the regular Baumer fanbase most likely have never heard of Castlevania (and vice versa).

Pretty coo, the sound of the band (particularly vocals) was almost a throwback to something much older, like Queen, or Asia or some 70's/80's group.

Wait what? Dude, keep it on topic, this thread is about the songs, not the comments. That battle has been waged to death.

It was a bit on topic since it was on the youtube link.  LOL j/k

Anyway, the song is meh especially how it is more about love than fighting Dracula.

Like I said, more references would just be too much. It's supposed to be subtle. They're an indie rock band, not The Official IGA Orchestra.

to each their own

Sure, they are an indie rock band, but it does not mean they can't add more references.
