Hey, I found that the Nocturne of Recollection (or whatever it's official translation might be) is indeed coming to audio CD.  It has new artwork in them too =)

Google translates this next one as "Castlevana Radio Chronicle", which I think is all those guys who were talking before the drama started.  At least it has new art of Richter.:

The new artwork is nice.  However, how would some one but subs in it?  If I remember correctly, this was originally a radio broadcast.  What I would like to see is Konami translating it and making it available in various countries.  To put it simply, I'd like to hear this thing in English done by professional voice actors.  Then again, considering that Konami never releases any of the extra stuff that comes with games (like official soundtracks and other stuff) outside of Japan, I'm not getting my hopes up for an English version of the Radio Drama.

As long as I get to at least read an official translation, I will be satisfied.

I can dream can't I?  This is what I hate about Konami.  They only release the extra stuff like soundtracks and this "radio drama" in Japan, even though from what I've heard, CV is a lot more popular and has a larger fan base in the US.

Agreed. Their marketing and development decisions concerning of Castlevania are completely reverse of logic. They cater to the Japanese even though the series is failing miserably there. The Japanese get 90% of the extras and special collectors items. On top of all this, all the changes they make to the series to please the Japanese fans, are displeasing the actual larger fan base of America.

If anything, this is why we're in this predicament of Castlevania's slipping popularity, giving way to them having to reboot everything and make a game that has to be something else to revive the series (Lords of Shadow).

Even if CV is more popular in the US, game cd's are more popular in JP than in the US. Also, they would have to rerecord the whole thing with english voice actors if they wanted to release it in the US. Chances are they wouldn't be able to get back the voice actors from the PSP dub of SOTN.

Well, Konami can at least give us an official translation of the script.

They could make a video with little character portrait boxes that pop up whenever anyone talks, and give us a translation on the bottom.  Then ship it as an unlockable in another game.

Yeah that would be a great idea. I think when they released the fatal fury collection in japan it came with a little video of Terry talking to Rock about past events in a bar. I think it was called memory of stray wolves.

Yeah, that's a pretty good idea actually. Probably won't happen but that would satisfy me.
