Why oh why was "Monster Dance" never used in a CV again? It's a little short maybe, but they could extend it and use it in some kickass graveyeard/swamp level or something... It always made me feel very uneasy when I was little, but in a good way.

(Off topic) Speaking of SQ; Konami should've used "Silence before daylight" in the town in Order of Ecclesia... I can't believe they missed a perfect opportunity like that...

Sotn's Door to the abyss.... I'm surprised people aren't saying this one.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdtcJnW5Qaw&feature=related  Abandoned pit also...

It's these two songs that showcase WHY i love sotn's music..So much emotion and feeling...it convicts emotions.

Dracula rises from grave SCIV (great soundtrack)

This. I love that song.
Although, honestly, Metroid always did a better job of scaring me than CV.

I'd say the spookiest tune for me is in SCV4's intro story. play that tune in a room with no lights on.  :o

In Castlevania IV, the waterfall segment. I don't know if I'm alone on this one but, that song is scary to me. Its really damn eerie.

The tune at the waterfall segment fit the environment extremely well; Silent and alone. It's as if every single song was deliberately made to express the stage in which they were featured.

It's always fun reading how most of us notice and appreciate those magical little nuances in Super CV4, and it's music. It's hard to find other games that have a mood and tone like that. I feel like Super Metroid on SNES had a mood like that. Any other games??

That's the tune that played in the leaning tower of Pisa stage, wasn't it?

That song definitely fit the CV atmosphere of Bloodlines, dark, brooding, and foreboding.
