Believe it or not, I like the open mouth Drac better. It makes him look more ferocious and blood thirsty, like a vampire should look.

Just seen some of the figures myself(had a chance to finally go down to the figure store at the mall). I was surprised at how good Dracula looked. I was afraid that he was going to have those big eye-shadow purple blotches around his eyes, like in some of the photos. The figures I seen didn't have that problem. I saw closed mouth Dracula. His stare is freakin intense. Cool looking fig! I'll definately buy it soon(can't think of myself just yet since Christmas is around the corner and I have a long list full of people I'm shopping for).

They must've run out of Alucards, though. I didn't see any. Simon looked badass. Love his weapons, and at first, I was trying to find the whip inside, which was placed behind his arm in the packaging. Yeah, his accesories are cool! Saw Succubus. She looked...alright. Most of them had strange eyes(almost crosseyed).

that sucks bro. I had mine preordered at BBTS as well since late August, and finally canceled when they wouldn't get the figures in. went to Amazon and got 2 Succubus figures for $8 ($30 off first purchase with an Amazon Visa).

This isn't the first time BBTS has been slow with their preorders.  I recall them being a bit late (like a month or two) in getting the mp5 Megatron transformer figure.  However, it is somewhat understandble in that case since BBTS had to add an orange cap on the barrel to make it legal to sell in the US despite that american customs didn't really care if it had the orange tip or not.

I've had to cancel numerous orders with BBTS because they get their products so late:
-Spider-Man 3 (Sideshow Black and Red suits)
-Dante (Revoltech DMC)
-Predator 2 (Hot Toys)
-Castlevania (Neca)
-AVP:R (Neca)

I ended up getting all of these items weeks, some times months earlier by going to Cornerstore Comics.com, Amazon, or eBay. (I've had my Castlevainia sets for over three weeks now...)

One thing I will give the BBTS though, their shipping prices are great.

Well, I just got my Simon and Alucard figures. Aside from some painting issues I think they're both pretty good. I had to glue Simon's sheaths to his waist and Its a total bitch to get any thing in his hands. The on;y problem I have with the Alucard is that Hair that flows over his cape. It would look better with just the hair coming down from the inside. I want to cut that piece off but I'm not sure if I will. They aren't the best figures ever but I am happy with them
What a horrible night to have a curse!

aww, he doesn't have his shield that sucks man, makes the figure incomplete. I have a simon and succubus on the way, hopefully simon's not missing any important accessories. (it would suck if when I got him he didn't have his whip or something).

Just got my order of all 4 from BBTS.

Dracula is the cream of the crop here. I got the closed mouth version, gave him a bloody wine glass from "The Master" figure from sideshow, looks great like that.

Simon is my least favorite. His accessories barely fit in his hands and takes quite a bit of effort to force them in. He also looks like he had a broken leg when he is standing in the only pose he can stand in.

Alucard is pretty good, hair is weird looking as mentioned before. He is also a bit cape heavy and leans back.

Succubus also looks good, I got one with a clean looking paint job (I've heard that many are quite bad). Her top doesn't come off, and it seems like it should stay that way as it would take a good amount of force to get it off.

Just got my figures in from BBTS today.  My Alucard is messed up; the face is too white in contrast to the rest of the body.  And on top of that, his hair wasn't glued down!  I'll be buying a replacement Alucard.

The Succubus looks great, but I'm disappointed by her complete lack of articulation.

Closed-mouth Dracula and Simon are easily my two favorites.

I suggest you just do what I did.  (Everyone should, at least those that open up what they buy)  It's not hard to get her top off.  Just use a hobby knife and slowly pry it off.  It's just glued on, it's not a part of the figure or anything.

I bought all 4 figures because my friend told me about them over the phone and I didn't get to see them. I was so excited, this was one of the happiest days of my life.

Upon receiving them, I was utterly taken back by my disappointment. Having been a castlevania fan since 86, I guess I had built up expectations for how they should have looked.

Alucard looked more like Sephiroth than Alucard, it didn't look like him in the face. He was too bulky for the build he has based on the game and Kojima's artwork.

Succubus looked like a skank crack bitch. She didn't look like a seductive Demon as portrayed in Kojima's artwork. Even in the game, her body style looks more voluptuous than skinny crack whore. WTF is a hunchback doing packaged with her? I don't remember fighting Succubus and a hunchback at the same time....

Simon.... WTF? I was expecting something that looked more along the lines of the artwork from Castlevania Chronicles..
I'm sorry, I'm just not into a 50 year old looking simon .

I think Dracula was probably the only half decent looking of the figures.

What about the packaging? Personally I would've used a more ambient style white packaging, and the cards would have been bigger with Kojima's artwork on it.

After careful consideration, I returned the figures to the store because I felt that my favorite game of all time had kinda been insulted by lack of better production.

Call me an ass if you want, but I think Konami should have approached someone like Todd Macfarlane or a company with some credibility and made some immaculate figures that would live up to the expectations of any hardcore fan.

Action figures aren't easy to make, I've bought a molding kit or two from hobby shops and I threw away what my attempts became. I'm not saying I could beat these guys at their own game, but I am saying that I could've designed a better and more efficient look and went in a better direction with the product.

I thought it'd be cool to have the Ferryman with a boat and hewn rock and skull backdrop would be cool IE, the leatherface figure comes with a butcher's room w hanging chains and bones backdrop for setting I guess.

just my two cents.
