God of War (spoilers)

fisrt of all this isn't a thread about GoW III...sorry...i didn't even play the game i'm waiting till the prices drop.
This thread is about all the horros in GoW I and II

Gow I - When the "O" appears above enemies sometimes you press it and nothing happens...If you're playing God Mode you can be hit, and mostly die. Ares is too easy for a final boss.Even in God mode...The story is awesome though but Kratos is a little non understanding...He kills innocent people in the game, and the plot is he trying to get forgiviness.Another thing, when he finds pandora's box the thing is to freaking heavy he can hardly push it.Athena tells him to get back with it to Athens...that's a very long way...why didn't him just open the godamn thing when he found...that would avoid getting killed. In the desert Athena tells him that a titan lives, Cronos is the last one.In the second there are a lot...there are so many things but those are what i remember now, and are the most "WOW" ones...

GoW II - The game is a complete rip off from the first one...They didn't even bother change mostly traps...Get inside a dangerous place to complete the task.Slowing time all the time is as boring as slowing time for real life...The graphics had a huge improvement, some new enemies are awesome...i liked the chalenge of the titans extra thingy.Kratos has way better moves, most bugs were fixed, the combos are awesome. But here we go...In the end he was super powerful...and had control over time...why didn't he just go back to confront himself (a weaker one) and save his family? Why didn't he go back when Zeus was a child and killed him?he was used and fooled by the gods in the first...again???now by the titans???is he that fool????he solves complicated puzzles, he can't be that dumb...and if he is a god, decided by the gods (as mentioned in the first) why can Athena take off most of his powers?in the first Athena mentioned that Zeus had forbbiden all gods from raging war agains themelves.and zeus???would he really give Kratos the most powerful weapon???to kill his favorite daughter (mentioned in the first).Dumbass again...

Don't get me wrong i love both games but dude...IGA made them or what?????

All the other Titans were sealed away by Zeus. Maybe Kratos wasn't thinking about going back to when Zeus was a child, he was blinded with vengeance. Basically, everything is answered in god of war 3.

Playing through the first game was a real bitch. I can't even begin to tell you how high my voice was raised or how much colorful metaphors slipped outta my mouth. I still have yet to go back to GoW 2. But I do find that it's a little easier to play then the first. I have yet to try GoW3 so I might decide buy it one day.

Well I can ask a friend of mine, who completed all three.
The one complait he mentioned is that GoW3 is much shorter then the other two.

God of war for the PSP was also a short game. But even if it was short it was still fun to play.

Yeah, well, that part really was kinda stupid.

In the desert Athena tells him that a titan lives, Cronos is the last one.In the second there are a lot..

As Crisis said, Zeus had sealed them away at Tartarus (aka deepest hell for the most wicked beeings). Until that point, Kratos had only encountered some Titans while beeing on his quest to rescue Sun God Helios in the PSP Game.

and if he is a god, decided by the gods (as mentioned in the first) why can Athena take off most of his powers?

It wasn´t Athena who took away his powers - it was Zeus (you know, as the eagle right at the beginning. Zeus=shapeshifter). And no one at Olympus was really happy about Athena making Kratos one of them... which leads to GoW2s events, among other things.

Quote
in the first Athena mentioned that Zeus had forbbiden all gods from raging war agains themelves.
Well, they had some backdoors. While they were never allowed to battle each other, every god had the right to do with his/her powers what they want. Like giving them to humans or taking ´em back etc, like Kratos. Thats the reason why they sent kratos to kill ares, btw.

Quote
and zeus???would he really give Kratos the most powerful weapon???to kill his favorite daughter (mentioned in the first).Dumbass again...

Zeus gave him the Blade of Olympus so that Kratos would feed it with his remaining God-Powers, which he did. And when he lost the sword, he also lost his powers. Because of that, Zeus was able to kill him. It was all a set up.

I don´t really like how the PSP Games´ story turned out. Don´t get me wrong, it´s an incredible game for a handheld, but it was kinda strange when Kratos killed Hades wife, who was a god herself. And in GoW1, after the Death of Ares they are all like OMFG GOD KILLER. Well, maybe it could be explained that Hades wife was only a demigod?

Oh yeah, I don´t understand how some people can call the Games easy. Sometimes, even playing on normal is damn hard. Chains of Olympus was the only game i could play through on Spartan (hard). I´m stuck at this mode on GoW1, right now.

@GoW3:

I began playing it (on normal) on Saturday evening and finished roughly on 6 pm. sunday. (of course not in a row, with sleep and pauses). Well, that made around 11 hours for me, excluding that damn hard boss near the end.
But people can’t be ruled by power alone! The sacred, the honorable, the loved…those things can rule humanity. Something evil will eventually FALL TO RUIN!!
