Nah. I mean, I would like to own a few of them, but I find them overly expensive. Also, I don't listen to CDs anymore. Plus, I have 95% of the songs on mp3. But if I found them cheap I would probably buy them all just to look at them, or something.

I pick them up whenever I run across them at conventions, but don't go out of my way to obtain them on the internet.  I've got SotN, CotM/HoD, AoS/DoS, Chronicles, PoR, LoI, CoD.

dude i see Your passion on collectables,,,just like me. um,,,those CDs are expensive indeed (especially the rare titles) and not everyone willing to pay extra money to make their album collection. mp3 is a nice alternative. BUT playing a cd on a hifi system really have much difference in quality and shocking atsmosphere....that why some of you prefer owning a CD. And many times i just LOVE to have a look on the case and manual. The feeling is quite difference from just hearing mp3s.

Nice collection man. I especially love chronicles and Com/HoD from your list. Keeping it up.

Any guys want to share their experience???

I own most of the official game OSTs, and my brother owns two others (the Dracula Best CDs). The really rare stuff like the Perfect Selection Dracula Battle albums and the other arranged CDs, I unfortunately do not have.

I'm still contemplating buying the box set that just came out, for collector's sake, but there's not a whole lot there I don't already have so it's hard to really justify spending all that money on something I really have no need for. I'll hopefully be able to just download the stuff I don't have, which would be the scores for Vampire Killer, Legends, Kid Dracula, the arcade game, and the Michiru Yamane arranged album (shame the box doesn't have any of the extra songs from Legacy of Darkness that weren't in Castlevania 64, like its arrangement of "The Sinking Old Sanctuary").

As for favorite tunes, that's a hard one, because there are so many great songs in the series. Though my favorite Castlevania song for the past decade has been "Wicked Child".

i really hope i stumble across some of the latest sound tracks.  got to get OoE (though I heard its rare), Judgment, and Pachislot.  yeah, they're a bit expensive, but whenever I go to anime conventions (only Anime Detour, once a year), i give myself an allowance of about $300 bucks to spend on Japanese stuff and am very happy to find a CV sound track.  they make great souvenirs.  i'm kicking myself for the time before i started collecting them regularly that i found a Castlevania 64 sound track but passed up on it.  haven't been able to find one since.

I usually order new soundtracks from Otaku.com. They never sell bootlegs, and are usually priced reasonably. Shipping can be a tad much, so I usually bundle a bunch of items together to save on costs.

The coming boxset should have more extra tracks, i.e arranged ones, tracks that have never been released. Konami should put more things in it to make it more like a 'long-awaiting souvenior' for us rather then just making money,. Agree???

I used to get all the OSTs.  I never bothered with any of the music CDs that weren't actual OSTs, although I did get the horrid Dracula X Remixes CD in a group auction.  I picked up everything up to the AoS, LoI, and CoD OSTs, but I stopped collecting around then.

You know, if somebody who owns the Perfect Selection Dracula Battle albums could make high quality or even lossless rips, I would love you forever.

Unfortunately, I do not own any of the OSTs but I would love to begin collecting them for CV. I was a big book and OST collector of another Konami series, Pop'n Music, and one of the main reasons why my interest there died down was because of cost. Money has been pretty tight lately, and as a newly christened Castlevania obsessive, I would like to focus on completing my game collection first, and tackle the goods when that's all said and done.

I agree completely, otaku.com is a great site, very fast and reliable. EMS shipping is expensive when ordering single items, but it gets to you fast. I've ordered a few books from there and I have nothing to complain about so far.

I love collecting Castlevania stuff but surprisingly I have only 3 OST's, but I did just get the Best music Collection Box, so I can hold off on the original OST's. I really like getting the guides for some reason.
What a horrible night to have a curse!
