..the trip to Transylvania?

How come Konami doesn't do more sweepstakes like this? Maybe someone should inform Dave Cox to pull some strings..

haha! I remember that when I was a kid. I didn't enter but I remember seeing it and telling my brother how awesome that would be. Ever since playing that game when I was 4 years old, I've always wanted to go to Romania.
What a horrible night to have a curse!

can you imagine being shipped onto a cheap ass romanian airline payed for by konami, and being dumped in a tiny motel with wolves howling and a complementary gift basket with a nintendo power and a toy whip?

actually that is EXACTLY what would happen in Romania. The have totally based tourism off the legends of Dracula and set up horror themed motels, buildings, tours. It's rather... what's the word, more American like in style then one would of expected. Really, you expect this type of thing in what was once a sleepy little area in Europe, now it's practically a theme park. Well stranger things have happened, is not Lugosi buried in his Dracula costume?

I bet you'd get carted in via horse carriage, and you'd have to stay in an ancient crumbling mansion with some creepy old guy who only shows himself during daylight...

maybe castlevania was like that movie flight of the navigator, and was used as a way to find someone who was really skilled enough to kill dracula...then said person was sent over to castlevania to settle it once and for all

wait, really?? so what happened?? If they didnt own up to it, you should hassle Konami to get you the trailer for LoS, and maybe the game itself early or something.. haha

I think he's joking.

..or is he?

Anyway, this competition was for US only, I think. Dracula's Curse wasn't released in Europe until 1992-ish (it was released AFTER Super Castlevania 4, I kid you not...), and as far as I remember there was no contest here.

Errrr... I think it was no one. Maybe the CEO of KCEA. I dunno. I am not in the US, so, I dunno. Plus...

£10 and my future wife that was the trip. And you forgot the bat infested room and the trip to the impaled.

Why everyone forgets the goddamned bats?
