Games for Sale

Due to a combination of lack of interest/no time/credit card debt/tuition/no job hours, I'm selling most of my game collection.  If anyone is interested in buying any of the listed games, please send me a private message!  I feel the prices are fair based on the fact that many of these titles are super rare, and I paid an arm and a leg for most of them, so I'm not getting a huge return on investment here.  Please keep that in mind.

If that's true, you severely overpayed on quite a few titles. Seriously.

A bunch of these titles (PS2 especially) can be ordered online for much, much less.

Well I'm open for bartering on quite a few titles.  If anyone is actually seriously interested, please contact me.  If you could give me examples of which titles you're specifically referring to, please do.  The PS1 titles are fair, I feel.  And I've quite a few titles I'm not selling either, including Suikoden II, which I paid $100 for.

In Europe, "Tomba!" (or "Tombi!" as it's called here) is really expensive and rare. If I lived in the US and didn't have the game I'd TOTALLY buy it for $20. It's one of the best sidescrollers on the PS1. Just saying.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  I bought these in Canada, videogame gouging central, probably next worst to Europe.  Also, I have to eat the shipment costs whenever I send these out, which will be quite high, considering it's travelling between countries, and the postage charges here are already quite high.  But anyway, I don't like it when people shoot their mouths, I paid what I paid, you can't get any better deals in Canada.

If you could give me examples of which titles you're specifically referring to, please do.

All the Final Fantasy games. ($10-20 each)
All the GTA games. ($5-7 each)
The Megaman and Genesis compilations. ($18 each)
Disgaea ($18)
Odin Sphere ($15)
The Grand Turismo games ($2-10 each)
All the Tomb Raider games ($10-15)
Neo Geo Battle Colosseum ($6)

There's probably more, but I don't really feel like checking. Also, this is assuming said games are used (a $2-5 variance would also be acceptable assuming that the boxes and manuals are intact).

I'm all over Tomba!. PM sent.

And I already bought NanoBreaker when I saw it for like six bucks once, so I'll let some other poor sap have it, ha ha. Actually, I haven't played it yet, so maybe it's pretty cool. Can't be as bad as Curse of Darkness.
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

Fair enough.  Those are all popular games with large print runs.  I'll change some of the prices to reflect this.  Disgaea, Odin Sphere and the handheld Final Fantasy (or any Square titles) are actually VERY expensive here in Canada.  Retailers like to gouge the prices of RPGs because they know they're the kind of games that collectors go for.

Personally, I don't think Nanobreaker was completely terrible, just not very fun. The gameplay is really slow. It seems the enemies have too many "hit points" so you're stuck mashing away at the same enemy forever. I did not play past lvl2 though, so maybe the game gets better, but to me it was not the "improved LoI" that IGA talked about. It's basically the same game, but uglier (and less fun).
Giving away Nanobreaker for free is really cool though, I bet some people would actually pay for it (I mean, I did).

Personally, I think Odin Sphere should deserve to cost more, but I can see why it wouldn't. Damn game has some bad draw backs... like the inventory system.

I once could've gotten Suikoden II when it was new for $9.99 from Sears, but by the time I went back for it, it was gone. Don't get rid of that one, it is indeed hard to get ahold of one cheap or at all.

Playstation 2 games were all 3 bucks a pop at gamestop a couple of months ago where I am. Not sure what a ps1 game would go for but considerably more valuable to most because of the quality at the time and popularity. Used games are really hard to sell for much though in general because you can order them on amazon at dirt cheap prices and it gets sent directly to your door and that is with a case booklet and 0 scratches on the discs.

You should consider selling those as a package deal you would surely bring in more that way than to sell them individually. Post them on like ebay or something as a collection.

Damn! Wish I could get that deal now! I sold my mint copy of Suikoden II for $75 on eBay and that was 6-7 years ago. I know now the game easily goes over $100. One of the games I sort wish I would of kept. But I haven't been willing to shell out money for another copy as I'd probably never get around to playing it for some time if ever.

Anyhow, you should definitely be selling this stuff on eBay, it's where you will get what it's actually worth. And obviously a lot more people will see it up for sale. PS2 games aren't really worth much sadly. I have a few I'd like to sell but, many are only worth 10 bucks or so, so I just keep them. I mean, how many NIS strategy RPGs to I need... And yes, many are cheap on Amazon. I actually got Street Fighter Alpha Collection and Street Fighter Anniversary Collection both new, both $10. You can buy all the Final Fantasies new on Amazon too from 10-15 bucks (excluding VII). Hey, I wish I could sell my La Pucelle for $40, but that's not happening. I would guess $15 sadly. Anyhow, not trying to be a dick about your prices, and neither is anyone else. But you aren't going to get anywhere near what you want for most of this stuff. I don't know if your games are Greatest Hits or not but if they are the original and NOT greatest hits, that helps the value. And for those prices, I'd hope all your games are mint. Actually Capcom VS SNK 2 you can probably get $30 for on eBay. Argh I don't think I could ever part with Final Fantasy Tactics, or let alone the other PS Final Fantasies and Vagrant Story, or the SNK stuff! Ouch on KoF XI though, I saw it for $3.25 NEW on Amazon, I almost bought it, but already have that game ha. You have a pretty awesome collection of games, sad that you have to part with so much of it!
