This is fun. My predictions:
-Castlevania: Lord Of Shadows playable, release date announced. While Castlevania fans squeal with glee, game is regarded as just another adventure platformer by general gaming public, who are, as usual, far more interested in the next Call of Duty, Halo, or Nintendo A List franchise than anything else. (extended prediction: September release date will get postponed in September, if we're lucky it will be out by Halloween, at the very latest by early December).
-If Nintendo's 3DS handheld system is debuted, expect a Castlevania announced for it as a launch title or shortly thereafter, likely Iga helmed. PSP is shafted as usual. It will be 2D side scrolling format with 3D scaling planes In background and foreground.
-Harmony of Despair announced and met with indifference by both Castlevaniacs and general gaming public; Konami blames franchise's perceived lack of broad appeal instead of lame design and obvious recycling of game elements.
-Castlevania Puzzle game for iphone/itouch not displayed with any fanfare. Really, it's a puzzle game, how much is there to show off?
-Nintendo is immediately declared victor of entire conference by gaming public and gaming press alike (hard to say who takes cues from who there), no matter what was shown. A just announced Mario cooking game is immediately crowned game of the year 2011.
