This is going to sound really sales-pitchy, but bare with me here. Fans will never be satisfied because the games the fell in love with cannot just be cloned forever. But when a game comes out like Lords of Shadow or Harmony of Despair, or any main title Castlevania, should we, for the sake of the series, buy the game. Without a doubt, IGA has created some great Castlevania history, and for some, the reason they love the series. Clearly, HoD is two things, a man's desperate attempt to show he can still make marketable games, and a response to fan demands. And Lords of Shadow? Konami's restored faith in the series, an all out attempt to make Castlevania big. So what happens if no one buys the games?
Iga is out of a job, failing to show his ideas are worth a damn to anybody. And Lords of Shadow? Konami sees that, despite all it's effort, no body gives an shit about Castlevania, and the series falls into obscurity. And If we buy? Bigger budgets, bigger teams, better creative minds. More games. If we don't buy castlevania, we will never have that perfect game. If we do buy, there is always that chance.
What do you guys think? Am I on to something, or not?
