Have you guys tried this?

I mean, Holy Crap, do games look good in HD. The only issue I seem to be having with it... and I guess it would be pretty bad if it were an action game is that when the screen/character moves you see like multiple frames or whatever like your hz is a bit off on your monitor.

But dude, it looks extremely sweet. I'll post some pics when I get home... or rather when I get up after I get home. Maybe... (Right now I'm only playing Persona 4 though) I'll try some other games later.

Kotaku and Something else also did an article on this with Shadow of Colossus too, and I have that so I can upload a vid or screen shot if you wanna see it in action.

Indeed... I can't get Valkyrie Profile 2 to work right. Funny thing is, I think it was working almost fine for a bit til I tried out different graphics plugin then it messed up >.>

I guess it doesn't matter too much anyway... Only reason I would play the game again is because of Lenneth and Lezard anyway... with a lil bit of other recurring characters... all the new ones suck.

And yea I've used it before too, but only recently did I build my computer... i7 930 w/ 5770 gfx and 6 gig of ram. So before it was lag/slowdown town, but now it runs almost perfect all the time... or better than perfect if the games run at 30 but I run it at 60 ... maybe lol.

What kind of PC power are you running?
I have to build a new PC in order to enjoy the newer emulators (DS, PS2, Wii), although I have all of these systems (just for screen captures, etc.).

I tried to get it to run at a normal speed for a long time, with King Of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match. It got incredibly frustrating, and I've since given up... I imported the new, lower-priced Tougeki version. I still have no idea what I needed to do; I saw several Youtube videos of people playing it normally, and the plugins were given out (either broken links, or just didn't work).

I can run most games, at a decent speed, but i need a better graphics card, if i want a better frame speed. Anyway, Castlevania LoI and CoD, are running at a acceptable speed to start and finish them.

Here is a video from me, playing CoD on PCSX2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJBjyFefSnA

computer?

Dual-core T4200, 2.00 GHz.
... I listed the wrong thing, and look like an idiot, right? I'm not good with this stuff.

No, computer speed was what I wanted, would help if you had a gfx card listed as well.

I had an opteron 175, and that wasn't running it too well either, though my gfx card was complete bs, so that might've been the real cause.

what is your gfx card?

Also, how much ram you got as well.

In fact, spec recommended by the creators of pcsx2

Recommended Processors:

Intel Core 2 Duo / Core i3 @ 3.2Ghz or faster
Intel Core i5 / i6 / i7 @ 2.66Ghz or faster
AMD Phenom II / Athlon II (X2, X3 or X4) @ 3.4Ghz or faster

Recommended VGA cards:

Nvidia Geforce 8800GT or better
ATI Radeon 4750 or better

Other Hardware Recommendations:

512 mb or above of System Memory:
Windows XP With Service Pack 3
Windows 2000
Windows XP 64 With Service Pack 1

1 GB or above of System Memory:
Windows Vista 32/64
Windows 7 32/64

I'm, again, not sure if this is the right thing, but I think this is the chip: Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family, 1309 MB. I have 3.00 RAM.

Ugh... mobile chipsets... Yea, that's probably a big problem right there. Not that a dual core is superb in any case.

Don't have a desktop?

Unfortunately, I've only got this... Thank you for helping me to understand what was wrong, though - it was driving me crazy.

Yea, you need a pretty hefty computer to be able to emulate a console... the estimate is roughly 3 times the power of the console.
